Autumn is my favorite time of year. Aside from the fact that it’s the one season when I have the least ailments (winter cold hurts my joints, spring brings allergies, summer heat makes me faint), it also has the best activities and color palette. We journeyed to the Cherry Crest Farms corn maze for the third year in a row (basically a tradition now!) and rewarded ourselves with apple cider donuts afterwards. We sipped hot mulled wine and watched jousting at the Renaissance Faire. We walked amongst 5,000 hand-carved, illuminated pumpkins in Fairmount Park at The Glow. I was a little disappointed that we couldn’t go to Linvilla Orchards this year (typically one of our other traditions) or take a fall hike to admire the leaves changing, but this month seemed to pass by so quickly!
