Cheers to 4 Years
This month was a busy one at work, but in a good way. I went on press for a big project (both figuratively and literally — the book measures 24” x 36” when opened!). I solo art-directed a photoshoot for a client and was really happy with how the photos turned out. Check out the new Metropolitan Bakery website launching later this month, if you’d like to see some of those shots! I rounded out the month by toasting to 4 years at Dyad. It’s amazing to think about how quickly those years have gone by, how much I’ve learned, and how many projects I’ve worked on over that period of time. I’m looking forward to seeing what the future holds.
Friends & Family
This summer was particularly hectic for us, so it was great to reconnect with friends and family this month. We were invited to Dan’s family dart tournament (I lost spectacularly — I think more of my darts missed the board than hit, but it was still fun!). We celebrated Andrew and Bri’s wedding at a beautiful restaurant in Phoenixville. My parents moved to a new house, and I spent a lovely Sunday with them watching football and helping to unpack. We spent another Sunday with Emily and Tucker watching football and making some exciting future plans. Speaking of football, TJ and I are part of a couples fantasy football league this year. It’s guys vs girls and my team is actually doing okay, considering I don’t know what I’m doing. And towards the end of the month Chris and Gabby bought us tickets to the Ed Sheeran concert, which I am tremendously grateful for. The concert was incredible!
